4月23日 Cathy Reed-SnyderIt is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I bring you this sad news of Cathy’s death. After a year of a hard fight with Cancer, we lost Cathy on Friday, April 18. Cathy was one of my first students here in Carleton Place who very quickly became a dear friend. She was a very caring person who was always the first one to offer a helping hand and was very enthusiastic about her dancing. There was never anything I have her that she did not work hard to master. She always danced with such joy and true love for what she did. I was very proud of her achievements and to call her one of my students, one of my "babies." take care, 7月13日 2nd Anniversary Barbeque Party.Come join us and help us celebrate our second year of being in business. Thanks to all past, and current students, Tania’s Dance Studio has been very successful. As a way of showing you our gratitude for your business, friendship, and support we will be holding a Barbeque on Saturday, August 25th at the studio from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Once again we would like to thank you for keeping us in business for an other year. We are looking forward to seeing you at the party. Just bring a lawn chair and relax. take care, Tania 6月20日 DANCE PRACTICE, FRIDAYS 8:00 to 10:00 PMI would like to invite anyone who is interested to join us every Friday night through the summer from 8:00 to 10:00 pm. There will be refreshments provided. Cover is $5.00 per person. Please take note there will be no dance practice on Friday, July 27 and August 3, 10. Dance practices on Friday nights will end the last Friday of August. I hope to see you soon. Take care, Tania 6月19日 Relay For LifeThank you everyone for all of your support and donations to my Relay For Life team "Dans N Fools." Thanks to your generosity we were able to collect $2,700.00 for the Canadian Cancer Society. A special thanks goes out to my Relay For Life team Bruce and Cheryl Cavell, Chris Baker, Clif Brown, Gina Somerton, Joanne Moore, Liz Hilfrich, and Rick and Judy Stone. Our Relay For Life Dance collected $400.00 for our team. Thanks to all who joined and supported us at the dance. Our top pledge collector was Liz Hilfrich with a total of $749.00 Congratulations Liz, you won a free dance lesson for being our top pledge collector. Our top walker at the relay was Judy Stone. Thanks for keeping our team going on the track. Congratulations Judy, you won a surprise gift. Our top helpers in getting organized, going to meetings and most importantly doing Tim Horton's runs Bruce and Cheryl Cavell. Thanks for all your help. You also get a surprise gift :-) Big Thanks goes to: Clif Brown for providing our lovely banner. Rick Stone for driving us home at 7:45 am while we had a little nap in the car :-) Ron Smith for coming out to support the team. 5月2日 Montreal ConferenceHello everyone, Just wanted to let you know that The Montreal Conference the weekend of April 21 was great. I came back full of new tricks and moves to pass along to you. Lots of things are changing in the dance industry and its all for the better. I am looking forward to teaching you all the new and exiting steps and technique. 4月11日 Fund raiser dinner dance galaI would like to thank everyone who participated in the fund raising dinner dance gala in benefit of open doors. Thanks to your support we are happy to say that we raised $2220.00 The money raised will go to help children be able to participate in sports, and other activities that promote social and mental health and development. Its that time of year again when I’m looking for people to join my team for the relay for life fund raising marathon to be held in June.The marathon is an all night event full of fun activities. More importantly, it’s a great way to spend time with friends who share the same interests and make some money for Cancer research. Also I would like to extend an invitation to all of you to join us at our first annual Christmas party on Friday, December 1st, from 7-11 pm at the Almonte Civitan Hall.
