My name is Tania Munro and I am the proud owner of Tania's Dance Studio in Carleton Place, ON.

Growing up in El Salvador, I started dancing at the early age of 6. I have continued my love of dancing by formally becoming a dance teacher in May 2001. I have been privileged enough to study dancing with some of the finest dancers in Canada. Dancing has always been my passion and I consider myself lucky to work doing something I love.

Teaching for me is a way of sharing with others all the joys that dancing has brought into my life.

I offer my students professional instruction in a relaxed and private environment. You can expect a positive attitude, dedication, patience, and most importantly, guaranteed results.

The Studio is opened Monday through Friday from 6 to 10 pm and on Saturdays from 11 am to 5 pm. There are private and group lessons available for everyone to enjoy.

Upcoming Classes and Events


LADIES ONLY GROUP CLASS We will be starting a ladies only group class again on Friday, September 26 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. I hope to see you all there ladies. Take care

INTERMEDIATE RUMBA AND SAMBA CLASS Starting Thursday, October 9,2008 we will be running a eight week Intermediate group class Rumba and Samba from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. Please call to register before Friday, Ocotber 3. 613-253-0035

FRIDAY NIGHT DANCES FOR THE REST OF 2008. Dance practices will be held on September 12, and 19. October 3,10, and 17. November 7, 14, and 21. December 5,12, and 19. Please keep checking the site for the upcoming Christmas party. See you at the dance

RELAY FOR LIFE

WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to thank everyone who attended our dance to collect funds for our relay for life team. We raised $545.00 at the dance.

I would also like to congratulate all of my Dans N Fools who raised a grand total of $2,798.00 to date, all which went straight to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Relay For Life Dance

I wanted to thank everyone who joined us at the Relay For Life dance this past Saturday, June 14. The dance was a great success and we raised $545.00

Great fun

Thank you to all of you who joined us at Club Caliente. It was lots of fun.

Don't forget this Friday, May 30 is our last dance practice here at the studio 27 Brick st. Be sure to join us one last time to say good buy to this location who has served us well for the past three years.

SALSA DANCING UPDATE

Hello everyone,

quick change in date for Caliente. We will be going on Friday, May 23 instead of Saturday and we can meet at Caliente at 9:00 pm or at the studio at 8:00 pm The club is at 110 York street. Ottawa.

SALSA DANCING @ CALIENTE

Hello everyone,

Sorry its taken me so long to find a date to go Salsa dancing. Its been crazy busy around here. We will be going Salsa dancing @ Caliente Night Club on Saturday, May 24. If you are interested in coming along and or if you need a ride there you can email me at tania_dancestudio@hotmail.com or call 613-253-0035

We will also be Salsa Dancing on Saturday, May 3 at the Mexican Emporium here in Carleton Place from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm we would love to have you come join us and celebrate the 5 de Mayo celebration. The Mexican Emporium will be providing refreshments, we will be providing the music and entertainment, and other business will also be keeping a Mexican theme for that day. Do come dance some Salsa with us. It will be lots of fun.
